Responsibilities
Handle any needed maintenance concerns in occupied, vacant, and model apartments.
Keep common areas and exterior clean and free of trash and debris.
Make apartments move-in ready by cleaning, patching, painting, and repairing walls, fixtures, and flooring.
Change light bulbs, filters, and locks as needed.
Perform daily inspections of the property, report any maintenance concerns to the Community Manager, and recommend solutions.
Establish a preventative maintenance schedule.
Prioritize service requests.

Required
Three to five years of experience working as a maintenance professional in a residential setting
Must be trained and experienced to safely handle specific hazardous material associated with building maintenance
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
Ability to Relocate to Alexandria, VA 22304 before starting work
Preferred
Residential Maintenance: 3 years
Supervisory: 3 years
Mechanical knowledge: 3 years
