Manager, Accounts Payable and Grant Reporting

Responsibilities
Manage Accounts Payables, ensuring accurate recording of expenses and timely payments to vendors.
Work with the Controller to develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures.
Manage the Finance Coordinator responsible for Accounts Payable entry.
Assist internal teams with the preparation of Request for Proposals (RFP) for contracted services and/or large purchases.
Reconcile monthly Concur reports and credit card spending within QuickBooks Online.
Coordinate with the Manager, Accounts Receivables and Compliance to ensure chapter pass through donations are processed timely.
Prepare the weekly check run report and send it to the CEO for approval.
Ensure payments are processed within Bill.com.
Monitor spending within SHPE to advise departments if they are over budget.
Work with the Controller to prepare and review SHPE Budget to Actual reports and distribute them to internal teams, preparing and distributing the Regional Budget reports to the regional teams, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
Serve as the primary contact for grant financial activity, providing financial analysis, management support, and guidance.
Support internal SHPE teams with information requests to complete grant proposals and provide supporting documents.
Prepare and distribute the monthly Temporary Restricted Net Asset report with balances for grant revenues and grant expenses to keep the R&I and Development teams informed of status and issues.
Working with internal teams, maintain grant compliance and complete documentation of grant awards.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.

Required
Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field.
Minimum of three years of experience in accounts payable, financial reporting, grant expense management or related field.
Ability to work within an online payment system.
Knowledge of grant management and compliance requirements.
Proficiency with accounting software, online payment software, spreadsheets, and data management systems.
Demonstrated skill in providing a high level of service to multiple customers, ideally in a nonprofit context.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Preferred
Experience working in a nonprofit organization.
Experience with Bill.com or other online payables system.
Experience with SAP Concur or other online expense management systems.
Experience with Quick Books Online or other accounting systems.
Knowledge of grant management and compliance requirements.
