Responsibilities

Focus every day on telling positive, data-driven stories related to audience measurement.

Draft press releases, media alerts and internal communications.

Pitch consumer press, sports business press and media reporters.

Pitch stories featuring Nielsen spokespeople.

Build and maintain press lists.

Responsible for press coverage reports and monthly roundups.

Manage communications with internal and external stakeholders.

Work closely with the commercial and consumer marketing teams to develop campaign-specific strategies for audience measurement.

Work with cross-functional teams, including events, commercial, marketing, social, PR, community engagement, product, and brand, to ensure maximum engagement across all partnerships

Required

2-4 years of related experience in media, advertising, measurement space

Ability to work across a highly matrixed organization

Comfort working in a fast-changing, adaptive environment with urgency and a proactive attitude

Strong writing skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Strong collaboration capabilities

Strong negotiating skills with proven ability to build and maintain relationships

Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to solve tough problems and handle pressure to meet deadlines

Creative and process-driven

Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
