Responsibilities

Prioritizing projects across stakeholders and scope to deliver impact to our web engineering community

Fostering relationships with partner teams and stakeholders

Collaborating with other platform teams on shared projects / principles

Coaching and mentoring the team with empathy to do their best work while growing in their roles and responsibilities

Partnering with Staff and Sr. Staff engineers to assist them in aligning architecture trade-offs and designing strategy

Creating deliberate plans and opportunities to systematically address technical debt and improve code quality

Contributing to the broader organization’s culture and processes with a “first team” mentality

Required

2+ years of experience as a full-time manager

Experience supporting and coaching Staff+ (ideally multiple) and Senior engineers

Experience managing a remote/distributed team

Familiarity with, and interest in, best practices for developer productivity

Experience (beyond configuration) working with bundlers, testing frameworks, editor integrations, frontend build/CI systems, observability tooling, or developer environments.
