Responsibilities
Lead and manage the marketing business analytics team to support growth and operational excellence.
Act as a liaison to business partners and clients on information solutions, data sources and analysis methods.
Address and resolve operational and internal issues.
Oversee strategic data use for Marketing Shared Services organization including the development and coordination of all analytics programs to promote and further the organization’s objectives.
Develop and maintain consistent approaches to managing marketing analytics needs across multiple lines of business and audiences.
Drive and adopt change toward a modernized analytics environment; represent marketing goals in enterprise analytics modernization efforts.
Lead the day-to-day operations of the Marketing Business Analytics team including oversight on corporate projects, complex analytics programs and other initiatives.
Work closely with technology, data, and other analytics teams to architect, integrate, and execute marketing business analytics programs.
Set marketing business analytics program strategy; identify opportunities for collaboration and analysis integration; work with cross-LOB analytics and marketing teams to influence participation in program implementation and adoption.
Act as a business owner of marketing, consumer and member data, particularly as used for marketing business analytics.
Lead the marketing business analytics team on corporate projects and other new initiatives.
Develop analytics plans in support of organizational goals and ensure plans align with enterprise brand position and future market strategy; work with LOBs for effective connectivity and the development of a strong and collective market presence.
Provide marketing shared services that meet business partner and organizational needs. Refine and expand suite of services as well as service level agreements, resources management, and mutual expectations regarding deliverables.
Establish and cultivate relationships across the organization to maximize collaboration, learning and integration.
Assist with the department budget and monitor expenses to ensure costs are within established levels.
Identify staff training and development needs and monitor performance of direct reports, providing prompt and objective coaching and counseling; inform employee as to plans and progress; conduct performance discussion and reviews.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related experience
Minimum of 3 years of management experience with responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work, and managing performance of direct reports
2+ years in market/competitive intelligence analysis, market research, and/or advanced marketing analytics
Advanced understanding of marketing analytics concepts and techniques including experience querying and analyzing data, generating insights, and communicating those effectively with colleagues and leaders
Ability to develop and execute marketing analytics strategies that deliver business-critical insights
Negotiating skills to manage through grey space and transition
Project management experience
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, including grammar, style, and usage
Ability to work with individuals from all levels of the organization
Ability to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties
