Responsibilities

Lead a team of Onboarding Consultants in implementation of the Gusto platform for new customers.
Define, track, and report on key metrics that inspire the right behaviors and propel the team’s overall performance.
Design and continuously improve the payroll onboarding process to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
Lead discussions on compensation and career growth, contributing to the development and expansion of the department.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure they understand their role in the client journey and its impact on the overall experience.
Analyze and refine team processes regularly, implementing changes that drive increased efficiency.
Promote interdepartmental collaboration to support client retention and project management growth opportunities.
Identify and secure the necessary resources (Ops, Product, other departments) for the Payroll Implementation team, ensuring collaboration and alignment.
Uphold and protect our company culture, considering how decisions impact policies, practices, team morale, and customer satisfaction.
Develop and achieve goals aligned with the company’s vision and strategic initiatives.

Required

A minimum of 3+ years of management experience, ideally within onboarding or implementation teams.
A proven ability to handle challenging conversations in a management role.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Outstanding communication skills, able to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
Strong leadership capabilities, able to confidently lead across all levels of the organization.
Experience de-escalating both client and internal issues.
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equal experience.
A background in new software rollouts and implementation.
A track record of quickly mastering new software and tools.

Preferred

Experience in payroll onboarding and SaaS.
