Responsibilities

Manage the performance of department staff, including interviewing, onboarding, conducting performance reviews, providing coaching and counseling, and supporting career development to drive continuous improvement in employee performance.

Lead departmental efforts to research and interpret tax law, develop and implement corporate tax strategies, policies, and standard operating procedures to ensure ongoing compliance, manage risk exposure, optimize tax benefits, and minimize overall tax liability.

Assist in preparing written testimony for rate case proceedings and other regulatory filings across the company.

Provide rate case support and accounting considerations for the company and its subsidiaries, excluding payroll taxes.

Prepare and review data requests related to rate cases and rate filings.

Support tax accounting considerations and rate-making implications related to mergers, acquisitions, and other business initiatives, with a primary focus on regulatory impacts.

Assist with tax compliance, tax accounting, and special projects as assigned.
