Responsibilities

Managing daily lab operations, maintenance of equipment, and overseeing lab safety requirements.

Working closely with stakeholders to identify technical gaps & support new product development activities.

Installing & qualifying various functional tester platforms & protocols for engineering & production readiness.

Planning and establishing work schedules, staffing requirements, production sequences to maximize productivity.

Collecting lab inspection data and record-keeping in accordance with ISO 9001 certification.

Developing work instructions, standard operation procedures (SOPs), control plans, safety standards, and visual aids for use of lab equipment and processes.

Generating and validating analytical lab reports for critical business decisions.

Leading, mentoring, coaching, hiring, growing lab personnel, including setting goals and expectations and providing feedback and coaching.

Required

BSEE with minimum >10 yrs of managing and operating engineering lab experience.

Experience in test equipment configuration and/or test lab supervision.

Experience in manufacturing metrics and problem solving in a manufacturing environment.

Excellent interpersonal skills – energetic, motivated, and self-driven.

Demonstrate ability to work well within a global team environment with minimal supervision.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational skills; demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks.

Strong knowledge of factory operations, assembly and test operations.

Familiarity with 5S, 8D, 6-Sigma, SPC, DOE, FMEAs.
