Responsibilities
Implement GXO's corporate-level compliance standards, guidelines, and compliance monitoring procedures for GXO's operations globally
Identify and escalate any potential violations of policies and applicable regulations
Conduct regular risk assessments and develop risk management strategies to mitigate identified risks
Be responsible for software used for Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) working with stakeholders to identify risk and capture mitigating actions
Perform compliance site visits, audits, and assessments, and assist with corrective actions, as necessary
Assist in compliance-related training initiatives including training material development, selecting annual training topics and materials, and delivering presentations to various departments and business units
Support the modernization and standardization of compliance processes
Design and develop communication strategies regarding corporate compliance related policies and procedures and updates to our compliance website
Assist with performing third party due diligence procedures and identify improvements, as necessary
Research and respond to requests for information and assistance from the business units
Maintain effective relationships with the business units, vendors and, as necessary, customers
Maintain an ongoing and creative branding and visibility campaign for our compliance program

Required
Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, supply chain, law; or
5 years of relevant work experience in a compliance program under legal, risk or compliance
Knowledge of, and experience with, regulatory and compliance matters
Experience leading departmental or cross-functional projects
Ability to interact and generate professional relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
Effective oral and written communication skills, preparing regular ethics and compliance communications
Demonstrated ability to create and deliver training on various compliance related topics
Experience performing risk assessments and creating a work plan to mitigate identified risks
Perform compliance audits into identified risk areas
Preferred
Experience performing investigations and audits involving financial, procurement, travel and expense related fraud. A CFE is a plus
Drafting and performing a compliance audit plan from internal procedures, highlighting risky areas
Understand conflicts of interest and how to respond to reported said matters
