Responsibilities
Develops and manages a wide variety of communications content including press releases, media statements, social and digital media posts, key messaging documents, and FAQs.
Develops and implements high-impact external communication materials to raise the visibility of Hologic's core areas of focus through various media channels.
Helps develop media materials and communications plans for industry and consumer events, major company milestones, product launches, and consumer awareness campaigns.
Supports media relations activity, manages media inquiries, and develops media briefings for Hologic senior leadership.
Serves as media relations contact and spokesperson when appropriate.
Supports marketing programming and campaigns with earned media and social media content.
Manages media monitoring and reporting across business divisions and corporate.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Advertising/Public Relations, or related field required.
5+ years of proven communications experience in corporate, product or executive communications.
Excellent writing, editing, communication and presentation skills are required along with a demonstrated ability to create high impact strategic external communications.
Well-versed in multi-media communications platforms.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, working at all levels and across geographies.
Ability to juggle multiple projects without sacrificing the quality of deliverables.
Collaborative partner with keen ability to effectively listen, distill information, think creatively and deliver communications that drive results.
Preferred
Previous healthcare communications and agency experience preferred.
