Responsibilities
Understand and stay abreast of various ESG rating systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Think critically about strategic approach to global ESG compliance
Coordinate on ESG strategies with trade associations
Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks such as the CSRD and other relevant ESG regulations.
Manage and report on ESG data, including but not limited to carbon emissions, diversity metrics, and sustainability initiatives.
Support the organization's net zero commitments by monitoring and reporting on progress towards carbon reduction targets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage the team providing responses to ESG-related inquiries in RFPs and RFIs from clients and partners.
Lead a small team responsible for ESG data management, validation, and reporting.
Develop and implement processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity in ESG reporting.
Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external parties on ESG-related matters.

Required
Bachelor's degree.
In-depth understanding of ESG rating systems, reporting frameworks, and regulatory requirements (e.g., CSRD, GRI, SASB).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to validate and interpret complex ESG data sets.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate ESG-related concepts to both internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to lead and manage a small team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in working with teams and stakeholders across different departments and regions.
Ability to communicate ESG strategy in all corporate affairs capacities including investors, internal stakeholders, policymakers, and clients.
Preferred
Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, J.D., MBA).
