Responsibilities

Orchestrate cyber incidents from detection to recovery, utilizing experience to continuously improve response capabilities and inform on opportunities to reduce risk.
Develop meaningful metrics and key performance indicators.
Lead the development and delivery of tabletop exercises, collaborating with other agencies as needed.
Update and maintain the cyber incident response plan.
Collaborate with Emergency Management partners to maintain Emergency Support Function (ESF) documentation.
Actively engage in improving leadership skills, attitudes, and knowledge, especially as related to equity, diversity, and inclusion. Attend training, development, and group training on topics of inclusive leadership.

Required

Three (3) years of experience in the people management position.
Six (6) years in a position where incident response was not the primary full-time responsibility or at least two (2) years performing at the level of Senior/Lead in a full-time, technical incident response position.
Experience must include working with partners, vendors, legal, law enforcement, cyber insurance vendors, and procurement to fully remediate and recover from incidents.
Two (2) years experience in any information technology field to support sufficient knowledge to guide a team of technical subject matter experts through the incident management process, including awareness of best practices, legal and compliance requirements.

Preferred

Knowledge of FEMA’s Incident Command System.
Familiarity with security vulnerabilities exploits and APT tools, techniques, and procedures.
Certifications: GIAC Incident Handler or similar.
