Responsibilities

Manages operations for the HP pre and post-analytical section, ensuring procedures are up to date and followed by staff.

Develops projects for operational improvements and collaborates with technical managers for service delivery.

Maintains compliance with federal, state, and accrediting regulations impacting laboratory operations.

Interviews, hires, and trains leadership staff, evaluates performance, and ensures continual education for the team.

Coordinates policies and procedures with faculty to meet division strategic goals.

Responsible for budget management, vendor interactions, and acquisition of laboratory equipment.

Assumes additional duties as assigned by appropriate leaders.

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Science, Business, or other related fields. Experience may substitute for education.

Four years clinical laboratory work experience with demonstrated progressive leadership experience to include lead and supervisor responsibilities that includes but not limited to human resource, payroll, strategic operations development, etc.
