Responsibilities

Coordinate integration and test resources to support product development and document capture of design.

Verify product compliance through test activities and request design engineering assistance as needed to support.

Contribute to design reviews and ensure that integration and test provisions are present in the design and planned for as hardware is developed to support project scheduling activities.

Prepare test records, plans, and procedures to support validation, performance, environmental and overall qual testing.

Suggest prototyping or test activities to reduce overall project risk.

Provide status and visibility regarding project activities and personnel resource allocation.

Ensure proper scheduling of Engineering Resources, such that resource allocation is optimized; deconflict project demands as required.

Provide oversight and support to all assigned Engineering Projects and ensure said projects have adequate resources in accordance with project requirements.

Oversee the planning and execution of the technical design flow, both for each independent technical area and for the process interactions between technical disciplines and other entities of the organization.

Create, review and support design guidelines and checklists to facilitate department knowledge transfer and new design success.

Create, review and approve all cost inputs to proposals and design modification requirements, for managed projects.

Provide oversight and overall management of the technical training plan for all direct reports.

Required

Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Electronics, Physics, or related field of study.

Minimum of four (4) years or greater experience in people management.

Security clearance is required or the ability to obtain one.

This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain a U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.
