Responsibilities
Develop and execute business development strategies to secure consulting engagements valued between $200K to $1M+ with institutional investors, focusing on our core service areas (more details at SMG Services).
Leverage your extensive industry network to identify and pursue new business opportunities in private equity and venture capital.
Partner with the executive team to create and execute strategic plans for client engagement and revenue growth.
Drive the client acquisition process, including lead generation, proposal development, negotiation, and relationship management.
Manage key client relationships and oversee senior-level client engagements.
Utilize your deep knowledge of the private equity landscape to offer insightful solutions and value-added recommendations to clients.

Required
Minimum 20 years of senior-level experience in management consulting and private equity, ideally from top-tier firms (e.g., McKinsey, Bain, KPMG, Blackstone, KKR, Goldman Sachs, etc.).
Established network and relationships within the private equity and venture capital ecosystems.
Proven success in identifying and closing $200K-$1M+ consulting engagements with institutional investors.
Strong business development skills, with a demonstrated ability to convert leads into successful engagements.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
