Responsibilities

Leads business development with (re)insurance companies to source ILS transactions

Owns the transaction process from the initial pitch to the risk originator to winning the deal including highly complex financial modeling, presentations, and due diligence

Accountable for deal execution including investor marketing, due diligence, and negotiations leading to transaction closing

Provide feedback to product teams developing platform features for (re)insurance companies

Required

10+ years previous experience in investment banking, strategic advisory, or consulting roles working with insurance and reinsurance companies

Extensive network within (re)insurance company executives

In-depth knowledge of insurance industry, familiarity with insurance linked securities or structured finance products is a plus

Entrepreneurial mindset with proven ability to sell new financial products to c-suite executives

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with specific ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely and defend their validity

Very strong quantitative and analytical skills (including excel modeling)

Bachelor's degree required

Preferred

MBA or other graduate degree is a plus
