Responsibilities
As a member of the Messaging COE you will partner with Client business and technical leadership to achieve the vision, strategic plan and roadmap for Client’s Messaging Architecture.
As a Sr Test Engineer candidate will be responsible for assessing and evaluating requirements to determine scope of functionality to be covered by testing both through manual and automation test efforts.
This position designs, produces, executes, and maintains software test plans and test cases.
The Test Engineer tests applications while documenting, tracking, and reporting on defects.
This position also analyzes test results, leverages troubleshooting skills to assist with defining root cause, and conducts re-testing after defects are addressed.
The Test Engineer provides and monitors quality control checkpoints, publishes test results for internal customers, and tracks metrics to maintain established service level agreements for customer expectations and quality standards.
In this role, candidates will work with a collaborative team that consistently works on high-priority efforts.
Client is looking for a self-starter that will maintain established service level agreements to meet customer expectations and quality standards which distinguish the client brands.

Required
3 plus years’ experience as a Test Engineer
Experience working with SQL creating and executing queries.
Experience testing Java-based applications
Experience in quality assurance software testing including performing analysis, defining required testing, developing associated test plans, and test execution; both manually and using automation test tools.
Must have experience in full lifecycle development and end-to-end testing
Must have the ability to effectively collaborate and work with others in a remote work environment
Must be able to work in a fast-paced production environment and a proven ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
Must be able to work independently with limited supervision
Must demonstrate the ability to be flexible with changing priorities and requirements
Proven track record of taking initiative and driving a plan effectively
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills?
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field
Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Scrum, JIRA, and Confluence
Experience with SQL, SoapUI, Splunk, Postman, AWS, and DevTest Automation Tool
