Responsibilities

Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, quality, and safety. Implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to reduce waste and enhance productivity.
Provide technical expertise and support to the production team to resolve manufacturing issues and improve performance. Develop and optimize workflows and equipment to ensure maximum output.
Collaborate with R&D, design, and production teams to ensure smooth transition of new products from design to production. Evaluate manufacturing feasibility and work with suppliers to ensure tooling and equipment readiness.
Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions. Ensure all processes meet ISO and other regulatory requirements.
Design, modify, or improve tools, equipment, and fixtures to enhance production capabilities. Evaluate machinery and equipment performance, implementing maintenance or upgrades as needed.
Identify cost-saving opportunities through process optimization, waste reduction, and efficient resource utilization.
Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment. Implement ergonomic solutions to improve worker health and safety.
Create and maintain process documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process flow diagrams, and manufacturing specifications.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience (3+ years) as a Manufacturing Engineer or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience with process optimization, workflow management, and cost reduction strategies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred

Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) and experience with CAM systems is preferred.
Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt) or Lean Manufacturing.
Experience in automation, robotics, or advanced manufacturing technologies.
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and data analysis tools.
