Responsibilities
Support the development and maintenance of a formalized competitive intelligence program and implementation of a central repository of information
Work closely with internal stakeholders to devise and evaluate methods for collecting competitive data (research, surveys, questionnaires, opinion polls)
Independently manage projects, utilize data analysis techniques to gather primary and secondary research and data to determine market conditions, competitive insights, and trends in the healthcare payer, provider, and life sciences market
Organizing data and information with a clear and rational thought process to assess and understand issues, evaluate options, form accurate conclusions, and compile insights and results into a presentable, actionable work product
Collaborate on communication plan approach to regularly share key insights with internal stakeholders
Learn to work closely with product marketing to develop effective competitive messages for marketing campaigns
Ability to work with external vendors, as appropriate, to procure various market intelligence
Be comfortable building relationships, collaborating and communicating at all levels within organization
Performs other related duties as assigned

Required
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Math, Market Research, Business or related field.
An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree.
1-3 years proven market and competitive intelligence research experience.
Knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys etc.)
Search engines, web analytics and business research tools acumen.
Knowledge of statistical software, databases and MS Office.
Working knowledge of data warehousing, modelling and mining.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to translate complex concepts and methodologies into easily understood concepts.
Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task.
