Responsibilities

Conducts research and analysis on the market, selected strategic accounts, new business opportunities, and trend and spend analysis, using available data sources and contractor support when necessary to support account management, business planning, and customer outreach activities.
Develops guidelines and standards regarding data analysis, evaluation, and presentation in order to maximize the usefulness of this data to various clients. Uses the results of data analysis to create metrics, develop marketing goals, establish benchmarks for marketing execution, and keep management apprised of program accomplishments.
Conducts or participates in studies of customer needs and private sector vendors who compete in the same product space as FAS. Evaluates key business features including corporate success, marketing methodologies, pricing and/or product delivery strategies, customer relationship management and other related business practices.
Creates dynamic and intuitive data visualizations to represent customer feedback, supply chain analytics, and quality control metrics. These visualizations effectively communicate complex data sets in an accessible format to stakeholders at all levels, enhancing understanding and driving informed decision-making across the organization.

Required

US Citizenship or National (Residents of American Samoa and Swains Island)
Meet all eligibility criteria within 30 days of the closing date
Meet time-in-grade within 30 days of the closing date, if applicable
Register with Selective Service if you are a male born after 12/31/1959
Current or Former Political Appointees: The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) must authorize employment offers made to current or former political appointees.
Serve a one year probationary period, if required.
Undergo and pass a background investigation (Tier 2 investigation level).
You must be granted this clearance before you can start the job.
At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service.
Experience developing and conducting market research, project management, and customer satisfaction surveys to maintain and improve customer relationships, and determine the effectiveness of marketplace approaches.
Using qualitative and quantitative methods and techniques to analyze to interpret data.
Making recommendations to management and serving as a liaison to key stakeholders to effectively increase the use of the organization’s services and products.
Conducting customer service trend analysis.
Establishing customer satisfaction surveys or comparable means of data capturing.
Assisting with complex market studies, which includes data analysis and statistical modeling to identify and assess trends and buying patterns.
