Responsibilities
Embody the values and core competencies of the Association and promote the Association’s culture
Support team members and departments in accomplishing the Association’s mission, vision, and goals
Set up and run email automation campaigns to promote AHP events and opportunities
Ensure campaigns are tested, optimized, and delivered on schedule
Monitor email performance metrics and recommend improvements
Develop, schedule, and manage social media campaigns to promote AHP activities and content
Engage with audiences and monitor campaign performance
Post blog content to the AHP blog, •Connect•
Publish updates to the LinkedIn newsletter, AHP •Resource Roundup•
Ensure all content aligns with AHP branding and messaging guidelines
Respond to member inquiries in the communications inbox in a timely and professional manner
Escalate issues or questions as necessary to the appropriate team members
Assist with marketing materials and collateral development for AHP events
Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and implement new strategies for member engagement
Support marketing analytics and reporting

Required
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
Familiarity with email marketing platforms (experience with ActiveCampaign preferred)
Experience with social media management tools (Hootsuite preferred)
Basic proficiency in WordPress or similar CMS platforms
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Detail-oriented: Ensures accuracy and consistency in all tasks and deliverables
Proactive: Identifies opportunities for improvement and takes initiative to implement solutions
Team player: Works collaboratively with colleagues across the organization
Adaptable: Thrives in a dynamic environment and manages multiple tasks effectively
Customer-focused: Provides high-quality service to AHP members and stakeholders
