Responsibilities

Manages and develops content for all social media channels, eBlasts, and digital marketing platforms.

Proactively plans, creates, and executes engaging daily content across multiple social media channels.

Writes, designs, and schedules all external mass email campaigns.

Primary graphic designer for various marketing materials with a focus on branding consistency.

Maintains a content calendar aligned with campaigns and marketing plans.

Develops and executes external marketing campaigns in line with the organization's mission and goals.

Manages the organization's website and implements innovative storytelling ideas.

Establishes a professional voice for external communications and engages with the audience on social media.

Monitors analytics to measure the performance of marketing strategies.

Collaborates with internal departments, partners, and influencers to enhance the organization's presence.

Assists in managing special events and acts as a spokesperson when needed.

Required

Commitment to understand and support FAEW’s mission, vision, and effective actions to end food insecurity and its causes.

Respect for the people FAEW serves and commitment to learn the causes of their food insecurity and need.

Proven proficiency in managing multiple social media channels and creating engaging content (required).

Proficiency in graphic design, specifically with using Canva (required).

Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrated track record of handling multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

General knowledge of WordPress websites, and email communication.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.

Demonstrate the ability to successfully interact with individuals of different cultural backgrounds and beliefs, which include willingness to try and understand and be open-minded of differing opinions and views.

Ability to work occasional evenings and/or weekends for FAEW events.

Valid Driver’s license, proof of insurance and transportation to support work activities.

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in marketing, public relations, advertising, journalism or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience, preferred.
