Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day website operations, including content updates, functionality testing, layout design, and performance monitoring
Manage the creation, publishing, and optimization of website content, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and marketing objectives
Enhance the user experience and interface design, ensuring websites are intuitive, engaging, and accessible
Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, traffic, and engagement metrics
Collaborate with designers and IT staff to implement new features, optimize layout, and troubleshoot technical issues
Manage website metadata, tracking codes, and other technical elements to support marketing campaigns, performance tracking and other marketing technologies
Work closely with marketing, design, IT, and other teams to ensure website efforts align with overall business and campaign goals
Ensure websites meet compliance standards, accessibility guidelines, and security protocols

Required
Bachelor’s Degree or experience equivalent
3+ years of marketing experience
Proven experience managing websites, with expertise in platforms like Webflow, WordPress, or similar
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and a basic understanding of JavaScript
Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and the technical implementation of web analytics and tag management tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager)
Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams and present insights to stakeholders
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with proven success in copywriting and an eye for great design
Highly organized and process-driven, with excellent project management skills
An understanding of the Catholic Church, general knowledge of diocesan organization and operations, and deep empathy for Catholic users of Augustine Institute products and services
Experience working with Windows operating systems and MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Strong interpersonal communications skills including strong facilitation and presentation skills
Excellent negotiation skills
Exceptional time management skills and ability to define and achieve outcomes that meet or exceed the organization’s goals
Preferred
Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and the technical implementation of web analytics and tag management tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager) is strongly desired
Experience with structured data through RDFa, Microdata and/or JSON-LD is a plus
Experience with UX/UI principles and their application to web design
Experience operating in a Scrum Agile environment is a plus
