Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Material Review Board (MRB) procedures to ensure strict adherence and process compliance.
Conduct thorough reviews and provide technical dispositions for hardware non-conformances, utilizing a high level of attention to detail and precision.
Assume ownership of technical decisions to guarantee product integrity and compliance, maintaining a continuous commitment to excellence.
Cultivate and uphold a strong quality image for all customers, demonstrating a dedication to continuous improvement and innovation.
Provide extensive support across all facets of the manufacturing process, prioritizing safety, durability, and quality.
Offer exceptional customer support throughout the entire process, ensuring customer satisfaction and product quality.
Possess a proficient understanding of Engine Manuals and other pertinent technical documents, ensuring accurate and effective interpretation.
Collaborate with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to ensure a credible balance between capabilities and requirements, facilitating efficient and effective processes.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET accredited university (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) with 8 years of Design, Structure, Manufacturing or Quality Engineering in Aerospace compression systems or hot section hardware experience, or 5 years of the above experience with an advanced ABET accredited degree in engineering.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Preferred

15+ years of aerospace Design or Structural experience
Demonstrated skill in leading and managing a technical team.
Experience in using process control/ six-sigma and or lean manufacturing tools.
Strong understanding of production process and ability to make appropriate risk-based decisions.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work alone or in a collaborative team environment.
