Responsibilities
Analyze item usage and cost to determine and adjust stock levels, reduce inventory cost, execute action on material phase-in and phase-out
Work with Purchasing to obtain technical information, specifications, recommended vendors, understand backorder risks, determine substitute material availability, communicate risks or concerns to supply, manage open orders and RTV requests
Review transactions daily to ensure supply issuances, receiving, inventory adjustments, and any other transactions are performed accurately
Complete requisitions for supplies that are needed, and submit to Purchasing prior to cut-off time
Execute daily inventory transactions (e.g. Receipts, transfers, fulfillments, adjustments, express issues, etc.) accurately and same-day
Coordinate with purchasing, supply chain, receiving personnel, vendors and accounts payable personnel to resolve problems encountered with purchase orders
Execute cycle counts daily, expiration date management, cleaning and maintenance of inventory and bins, correct labeling and barcoding of inventory and inventory storage locations, and other actions maintenance on a regular cadence to ensure inventory accuracy and quality

Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
2 years of experience in a Supply Chain/Materials department
