Responsibilities
To ensure the sales team has high quality, timely materials the Marketing Specialist will be responsible for managing the creative processes related to unique and exclusive opportunities to further increase visibility of mClub and Midwest Veterinary Supply at regional and national levels.
Maintain and update existing marketing materials including but not limited to project management of monthly email communication.
Assist with the development of new materials in print and electronic format which will include promotional materials, brochures, and custom projects.
Create, update, and evaluate modules in Brainshark or other assigned training platforms utilized by Midwest Veterinary Supply and our Manufacturer partners.
This position will follow a specified Business Unit Director and manufacturers’ initiatives to create exclusive programs.
This includes communication and aligns efforts with Midwest sales team to ensure mClub achieves all vendor rebate goals.
The position will develop marketing collateral and manage projects directed by the Business Unit Director.
The Marketing Specialist will oversee and develop marketing of mClub campaigns and social media content.
The Marketing Specialist position will manage a working relationship with mClub vendor partners to increase visibility and sales revenue for product lines through development and communication of promotional material, product launches, customized programs, exclusives, and incentives.
Collaborate with vendors as well as internal departments of Midwest Veterinary Supply to manage special marketing funds and help identify, develop, implement, and communicate new programs to accomplish sales goals and rebate objectives.
Review reports with manufacturers to see where additional assistance may be necessary.
Will be required to conduct meetings with manufacturing partners at the corporate office or off-site; be present in all requested meetings, conference calls, and training opportunities.
Complete other assigned duties as requested.

Required
Must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily
A High School Diploma or equivalency (GED) is required
A College degree in Marketing or Communications required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an office setting, preferably in a marketing, communications or project management role.
Experience using MS Office required
Ability to read, write and speak English
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, employment policies, operating instructions, and procedural manuals
Excellent verbal and listening communication skills
Excellent organization skills with ability to multi-task & prioritize tasks
Strong attention to detail
Self-motivated with the ability to problem solve and work independently
Strong project management skills
Creative minded
Promotion development experience
Managing multiple projects at once
Preferred
Print, web-based, social media, and email marketing experience preferred
Budget and Data Analysis skill preferred
Veterinary industry experience preferred
