Responsibilities
Design and develop aircraft interior components and systems using CATIA V5.
Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for manufacturing and assembly.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including industrial designers, structural engineers, and production teams, to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
Conduct design reviews and make necessary modifications to meet performance, weight, cost, and safety requirements.
Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards and regulations.
Perform tolerance analysis and finite element analysis (FEA) to validate design integrity.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of design milestones.
Provide technical support to other team members.
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in aircraft interior design and CATIA V5 modeling techniques.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, with a focus on aircraft interior design.
Proficiency in CATIA V5 modeling software.
Strong understanding of aerospace industry standards and regulations.
Experience with materials selection and manufacturing processes for aircraft interiors.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred
BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience with other CAD software and PLM systems.
Knowledge of aircraft seating, cabin layouts, and interior systems.
Certification in aerospace design or engineering.
