Responsibilities
Serve as primary focal point and manager for CGEF’s MEL activities, including USAID and other donor reporting requirements and CLA activities
Engage in active coordination and stakeholder management across CGEF and CFDA teams, USAID, subcontractor, and CGEF grantees
Provide technical input and guidance on CGEF's theory of change, MEL approach, and articulation of impact
Develop and deliver training to grantees regarding CGEF reporting requirements on climate finance mobilization, gender inclusion, and climate change outcomes. Provide additional MEL capacity building support to grantees as needed.
Review and validate CGEF grantee reports on a semiannual basis
Ensure completion of donor reporting requirements, including semiannual and annual reporting via CFDA, annual USAID DIS and GEEA Fund reporting, and annual impact reporting to CGEF’s donor collaborative
Maintain MEL infrastructure for CGEF, including MEL plan, reporting forms on Good Grants management platform, and annual targets
Manage implementation of CGEF Learning Agenda, including both project management and technical contributions
Liaise with CFDA Comms team to ensure coordination between comms and learning products
Support MEL needs for other CFDA activities, as assigned by CFDA MEL Director

Required
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience with USAID, or other donor funded programs.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain collaborative, productive working relationships with U.S. government counterparts and partner organizations in emerging markets and developing economies.
Experience designing and implementing MEL frameworks, data collection tools, validation procedures, data management systems, and data quality assurance procedures.
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and persuasively both orally and in writing, deliver presentations and training, and facilitate meetings effectively and cross-culturally.
Ability to work in a hybrid setting using Chemonics or other remote management tools.
Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity. Appetite to learn, ability to apply feedback across workstreams, and aptitude for anticipating needs and taking initiative to respond to them.
Fluency in written and spoken English required.
Preferred
Advanced degree in international development, gender studies, climate change, or other relevant field preferred.
Knowledge of and ability to apply USAID rules and regulations governing activity MEL requirements and data management preferred.
Experience in the climate change sector strongly preferred; experience working in gender equality/social inclusion, private sector engagement, finance, agriculture, environment, or other relevant sectors a plus.
Experience configuring and using data management, data visualization, and workflow platforms (such as Airtable, Good Grants, Power BI, DevResults, etc.) strongly preferred.
Additional language fluency strongly preferred.
