Responsibilities

Design and develop process flows and perform micro/nano fabrication or characterization
Travel as necessary for the fabrication and testing of the microchips
Generate and provide data as needed for reporting requirements
Function in an interdisciplinary team of researchers
Work independently within a team environment

Required

A Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering, material engineering, mechanical engineering, analytical chemistry, or demonstrated experience working in micro/nano fabrication cleanrooms
Strong communication and presentation skills
Requires knowledge of laboratory and chemical safety practices
Collaborative team player with the ability to work cross-functionally
High degree of emotional intelligence
Experience in MEMS process flow design
Experience in Photolithography, deposition and etching processes common to the semiconductor field including dry and wet etching techniques

Preferred

Experience in deep reactive ion etching (DRIE), anodic bonding, metallization, and wafer dicing
SEM, AFM, Ellipsometry, Particulate analysis and metrology
3D printing experience
PCB design and programming experience
Chemical functionalization of microchips
Gas chromatography
The ability to begin working in January 2024
