Responsibilities

Create forecasts and evaluate performance to maximize profitability and minimize liabilities.

Develop business plans at category/department/division levels against corporate goals.

Manage Open-To-Buy (OTB), present at business meetings, and provide strategic initiatives to upper management.

Analyze data for recommendations and reforecasting.

Prepare hindsight documents to measure past performance and inform future planning.

Support merchandising team with pricing and promotions based on analysis.

Collaborate with Merchandising to formulate sales/GM/Inventory flow goals and assortment strategies.

Build strong cross-functional relationships and make recommendations to improve the business.

Provide direct support to the Planning Manager and Merchandising team.

Responsible for the performance and development of an Associate Planner.
