Responsibilities

Work closely with the Marketing, Artist Community, and B2B teams throughout the commercialization process to create an assortment that meets both brand and customer needs.
Participate in Go-To-Market Strategy: Engage in the cross-functional Go-To-Market work stream, ensuring that the product vision is effectively realized in-store and online, in coordination with Marketing and external Retail partners.
Execute lifecycle plans: Partner with Merchandising Manager to assist in execution of product lifecycle plans, understanding all cost components and cost saving challenges, and ensuring that margin targets are met and exceeded.
Curate Channel-Specific Assortments: In collaboration with Merchandising Manager, develop and segment assortments by channel to provide unique and meaningful points of differentiation that cater to the specific needs of each channel.
Focus on Product and Site Optimization: Push for a best-in-class eCommerce experience, leveraging your passion for retail and with a lens of being customer-first, through management and reporting of top collection pages.
Assess and Evolve Assortments: Support Merchandising Manager in continuous evaluation and evolution of the assortment to align with market trends and business goals by understanding sales history, top volume drivers, and new market opportunities.
Communicate Effectively: Communicate and distribute all critical merchandising information to key functional areas on a timely basis.
Meet Deadlines: Ensure adherence to department deadlines to deliver products on time, maintaining efficiency and reliability in all merchandising department goals.
Analyze Sales and Web Data: Provide insight and suggestions for presentation of product, overall site functionality, including selling order, site/page design and navigation, email marketing opportunities, seasonal reporting, year-over-year analysis, cross-marketing opportunities, and process improvements.
Monitor Competitor Strategies: Keep abreast of key competitor product offerings, site strategy, distribution channels, and pricing to inform merchandising decisions.
Foster a Learning Culture: Develop and maintain a strong culture of learning and development within the team, encouraging continuous growth, collaboration and skill enhancement.
Build Strong Relationships: Establish and nurture robust relationships with key teams, including the Artist Community, Product Development, Digital Product, and Marketing teams to ensure effective collaboration and alignment.

Required

Minimum of 1-3 years of merchandising or experience in a related business or brand, with a proven track record in ecommerce merchandising, preferably within a vertical retail environment.
Excellent understanding of product trends and strong conceptual skills to develop innovative merchandising strategies.
Strong analytical abilities combined with effective communication and presentation skills.
Proven ability to take initiative, ownership, and responsibility for projects and outcomes.
Demonstrated sense of teamwork with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
A desire to contribute positively to creating a collaborative and engaging workplace environment.
Passion for shopping and browsing both online and physical stores to stay informed on current trends and maintain a pulse on the market.
A casual and informal approach combined with a strong sense of responsibility and personal accountability.

Occasional travel may be required as well as in-person meetings, when applicable.
