Responsibilities
Configure the MES system to manage workflows, data flows, and automation throughout the manufacturing process.
Create digital models of manufacturing processes, ensuring seamless integration of systems and automation.
Design workflows and data capture methods for operators to ensure real-time, accurate data input.
Optimize data flow and plant operations by configuring and setting up the MES system to support Manufacturing 4.0.
Monitor and manage alerts generated by the MES, prioritizing and addressing them efficiently.
Troubleshoot and analyze issues such as looping problems or other system inefficiencies related to MES workflows.
Collaborate closely with IT and operational teams to ensure system integration supports overall plant operations.

Required
Proven experience in MES system configuration, particularly in optimizing workflows and managing data.
Experience with OPStrakker, Siemens, APEX.
Strong IT background with a solid understanding of systems integration and automation (not a developer role).
Knowledge of Manufacturing 4.0 concepts and their application in MES systems.
Familiarity with EBR (Electronic Batch Record) systems, especially in managing alerts and improving operational efficiency.
Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve MES-related issues without needing to develop new code.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and operators.
