Responsibilities

Study disease and target biology to evaluate new targets. Propose new projects.

Establish muscle biology related competencies.

Lead biology and drive discovery project to progress and achieve milestones

Design and execute in vitro, in vivo and translational research to support target validation and drug candidate discovery. Ensure that experiments are performed to a consistently high standard

Manage out-sourced studies with CROs and/or academic collaborators

Responsible for data review, analysis and interpretation to enable program go/no-go decisions

Work with research teams to manage multiple projects

Support team members

Interpret and present scientific findings at internal and external research meetings

Collaborate and communicate across a diverse research team to progress scientific goals
