Responsibilities

Ensure work compliance to ISO 17025 requirements

Perform metallographic examinations on various materials to determine grain size, cleanliness, volume percentage of phases, and general microstructure evaluation of nickel and titanium aerospace parts

Coordinate with clients & third-party witnesses for testing details

Manage technicians to carry out work as per the planning schedule

Be willing to assist in other activities as requested by the department manager to meet Element Technology annual targets and budget

Required

Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy or related discipline

Minimum 4-years experience working in a laboratory in the field of metallurgy testing or equivalent

Knowledge and experience of safe operation of metallurgical testing equipment and operating in lab and / or industrial environment

Excellent organizational and team leading skills

Exceptional communication skills
