Responsibilities
Develop and maintain web applications for displaying LSR and PNS data.
Collaborate with meteorologists and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure the applications meet user needs.
Implement responsive design principles to ensure applications are accessible on various devices.
Optimize web applications for performance and scalability.
Ensure data security and integrity in all web applications.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for web applications.
Stay updated with the latest web development technologies and best practices.

Required
Proficient in web development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular
Experience with Local Storm Reports (LSR) and Public Information Statements (PNS) is a must
Experienced and proficient in Java and the Spring Framework
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Willingness to stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in web development
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Local Storm Reports and Public Information Statements: 1 year (Required)
Preferred
Knowledge of Postgresql is a plus
Familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation
Experience working in a cloud environment
Understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles
