Responsibilities

Develop and evaluate methodologies for generating performance models for algorithms and applications running on high-performance computer platforms.

Use the models to evaluate the performance-sensitive components in HPC systems and predict performance under different conditions and platforms.

Require a broad background in computing, strong knowledge of algorithms, numerical techniques, computational methods, expertise in scientific NASA applications, and experience in programming distributed memory parallel computers.
