Responsibilities

Manages the content aspects of specific company publications.

Manages the activities of the technical writing staff.

Works with functional departments to ensure timely development of data for inclusion in technical content and work schedules for meeting deadlines.

Reviews content and data to ensure editorial, format consistency and technical accuracy.

Recommends formats responsive to technical and customer requirements.

Is recognized as an expert in own area within the organization.

Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise.

Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends solutions/best practices.

Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify solutions.

Drafts, develops, finalizes, and appropriately communicates technical content most commonly in the form of technical guides.

Maintains a proficient understanding of internal and external technology developments; communicates with appropriate subject matter experts to gather technical content needed to produce up to date documents; and utilizes related tools to develop polished and cohesive content (i.e. Madcap Flares, Confluence, etc.).

Bachelor's Degree Req
