Responsibilities

Leads a team focused on managing HR compliance initiatives and programs and/or HR Policies for U.S. Lowe’s locations, across all lines of business.
Identifies new, existing, and revised federal, state, county and city employment and labor laws, regulations, and enforcement activity, analyzes cross-company compliance risk.
Serves as Project Manager, partnering with applicable teams to create and implement new and revised processes and system enhancements to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations and/or HR policies.
Develops and /or delivers training pertaining to employment law or HR policy compliance, engaging legal and learning partners as needed.
Consults on new business processes and technology initiatives to ensure compliance requirements are incorporated to mitigate risk.
Analyzes and interprets trends in data to recommend opportunities that would improve compliance.
Provides guidance on policy interpretation that aligns to local, state and federal laws and statutes and/or company policies and practices.
Cultivates and maintains trusted and productive relationships with human resources, legal, and business operations leaders across the enterprise.
Provides coaching, guidance, and expertise to leaders to address HR compliance.
Ensure HR policies and procedures have been documented, implemented, and communicated.
Stays apprised of labor & employment law trends by maintaining strong connections with applicable professional organizations.
Maintains and provides high-data driven reports with trend analysis and evaluation for recommendations on potential risk mitigation.

Required

Bachelor's Degree Business, HR, Labor Relations or related field OR 4 years working experience in these fields and 8-10 Years Human Resources or related experience
Master's Degree MBA, Human Resources, or Labor Relations
Other JD with a concentration or experience in employment/labor law
5-7 Years experience in an HR Generalist, Employee Relations or a related role, dealing with Federal, State, Local employment and labor laws and/or overseeing HR Policies and Procedures for multi-site and multi-state organization
5-7 Years Direct experience gathering, researching, analyzing and resolving complex HR compliance issues
1-2 Years Project management experience
Experience working in a large-scale, complex, and fast-paced environment
Experience researching, and writing or editing company employment policies and/or communications
