Responsibilities
Manage SQL instances throughout product lifecycle environments from development to production.
Configure and maintain MSSQL databases and processes, such as monitoring health and performance, to ensure performance, stability, and security remain within current standards.
Utilize data modeling techniques to support integration and performance expectations.
Provide opportunities for the automation of standardized processes.
Gather and refine specifications and requirements from stakeholders and business leadership to determine technical needs of workflow development with minimal impact to current operations.
Research and advocate new technologies, designs, and products to maintain a modern infrastructure and add value to the enterprise.
Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and leadership to facilitate the planning and delivery of migratory activities.
Create and maintain documentation related to developed migratory processes and procedures.

Required
5+ years experience MS SQL server administration
5+ years of experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO)
2+ years’ experience writing relevant queries in MSSQL
2+ years experience with cloud database environments
Relevant experience with database backups, restores, and recovery models
Knowledge working with High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR)
Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology framework, specifically SAFe
Strong organizational, oral, and written skills to manage multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines
Developed leadership skills to coordinate with stakeholders and enterprise leadership to deliver project requirements on-time with quality
Efficient problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
Understanding of version control and documentation solutions like JIRA, BitBucket, and Confluence
