Responsibilities

Data classification, retention, protection, and lineage tracking, to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.

Collaborate with teams to understand data requirements and implement effective data governance strategies.

Design, deploy, and configure various aspects of the Microsoft Purview data security and data governance toolset.

Design and implement data integration processes to ensure smooth data flow from applications into reporting platforms.

Conduct a detailed assessment of integration needs for the centralized reporting platform, evaluating existing systems and identifying optimal pathways for data flow into the new solution.

Required

Expertise in Microsoft Purview functionalities, including data classification, retention policies, data lineage tracking, and data cataloging.

Experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 platforms.

Designing, implementing, and managing data governance policies across an organization using Microsoft Purview tools.

Understanding of data governance principles and compliance regulations.

Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Purview, including setting up data governance frameworks, managing data discovery and classification, and monitoring data lineage across complex environments.

Strong knowledge of multiple security concepts and methods such as vulnerability assessments, data classification, privacy assessments, incident response, security policy creation, enterprise security strategies, architectures and governance.
