Responsibilities

Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable infrastructure solutions.

Contribute to the development of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) scripts and templates.

Write efficient code to automate infrastructure component deployment, configuration, and management.

Develop modular, reusable components for infrastructure management

Contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for infrastructure

Learn and apply AWS best practices for high availability, fault tolerance, and cost optimization

Utilize coding skills (e.g., Python, Go) to create custom scripts and tools for complex infrastructure challenges.

Required

Knowledge of software development fundamentals, problem solving and algorithmic thinking

Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, C++)

Understanding of distributed systems concepts (e.g., CAP Theorem)

Basic understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts

Ability to work with production-grade systems

Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)

Working experience with AWS or other public cloud provider

Effective communication and teamwork skills

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience working with production-grade systems in a cloud environment

Preferred

Familiarity with credit card processing

Android / Kotlin experience

Experience leveraging GitHub Actions for deployments

Experience working with Terraform

Restaurant experience (server, host, cook…it helps to know the folks our software supports!)
