Responsibilities

Design and coordinate plumbing systems across various project types using different delivery models
Perform calculations for water, gas, sanitary/sewer, and storm loads
Coordinate water, gas, and sewer connections with civil engineers and architects
Develop project specifications and conduct site evaluations
Participate in client meetings and collaborate with project teams
Prepare contract drawings from Schematics to Construction Documents
Stay updated with industry advancements and evolving building codes to enhance technical quality
Contribute to the growth and management of the plumbing department
Manage projects efficiently to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards

Required

2-5 years' experience in plumbing engineering within the construction industry
Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office suite
Experience in modeling plumbing systems and preparing construction documents using Revit
Familiarity with UPC Appendix M Peak Water Demand Calculations
Knowledge of Seattle and WA building codes

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience
Expertise in Washington State and Seattle codes, sustainable design, and heat pump water heating system design
Experience with heat pump water heating and rainwater/greywater harvesting systems
CPD or CPDT certification preferred
PE license and LEED AP accreditation preferred
