Responsibilities
As an Aftermarket sales engineer/specialist, focus on the development, implementation, and management of dedicated Mining Services sales.
Define and track specific growth measures and maintain the activity list.
Analyze market potential and map, define strategic approach, and describe business model.
Manage all aspects of the MRO sales cycle within the US territory.
Plan, implement, and document customer visits, identifying potential and following up on necessary activities.
Achieve sales growth targets for Rexroth Hydraulic Aftermarket products.
Develop close contacts to establish and maintain strong relationships.
Actively pursue new MRO business growth by developing 'Discovery accounts' each year.
Provide hydraulic technical & applications expertise and commercial support.
Proactively address and resolve customer issues.
Engage and interact with various stakeholders, including executive management and technical personnel.
Implement Mining Services marketing activities and social selling activities.
Plan and organize Mining Services conferences, industry trade shows, and canvass shows.
Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, etc. as required.
Communicate between all involved parties and use CRM effectively.
Maintain files, prepare and submit reports, travel domestically up to 50% in the US territory, and perform other related duties as assigned.

Required
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or in a technical field with 5 years of relevant Mining Services sales experience, OR Associate’s Degree in a technical field with 7 years of relevant Mining Services sales experience, or High School diploma plus 10 years of relevant Mining Services sales experience.
Work experience in either Regional sales, Aftermarket sales, or a Key market segment.
Basic Fluid Power Knowledge.
Travel required – approximately 50% annually.
Must possess sufficient motor ability to safely work in a manufacturing environment which requires the ability to ascend and descend machinery, multiple flights of stairs, and step ladders.
Able to lift, carry, and move objects of up to 50 lbs.
Strong negotiating, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in MS Office applications: PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
Motivated self-starter with strong prioritization skills and to work independently.
