Responsibilities

Conducting and producing data analysis
Building the capacity of community partners
Utilizing MN StoryCollective data
Building and maintaining relationships with state colleagues and agency leadership
Supporting the work of internal teammates and colleagues across the Enterprise
Consulting with state agency partners and external partners regarding the use of MN StoryCollective data
Maintaining a high level of rigor
Supporting the Outreach and Engagement Lead as well as the Internal Partnerships Coordinator
Acting as an expert in understanding and utilizing community engagement initiative and data
Working with diverse and high-level stakeholders under limited supervision

Required

Two (2) years of professional level experience
A Bachelor's degree in economics, political science, public policy, public administration, business, planning, mathematics, statistics, social or physical sciences may substitute for one year of experience; a Master's degree may substitute for eighteen months of professional level experience
Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative information collection and analysis sufficient to evaluate program-related data and extract meaningful information to apply to program operations, and supporting others in doing similar work
Experience engaging in data collection, data analysis, and data discussions with relevant population groups in Minnesota such as those grouped by race/ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, and geography, and tying back to the work of a team
Excellent oral and written communication skills sufficient to lead projects with internal and external stakeholders
Project management skills sufficient to communicate, organize, and manage multiple complex projects that adapt to emerging opportunities
Ability to initiate and complete projects independently

Preferred

A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in a related field
Experience supporting others in using, analyzing, and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data
Familiarity with public budgeting, legislative, and/or grants administration processes
Problem solving skills sufficient to diagnose and collaborate with team members on complex social and technical problems
Experience with state data systems
Experience with Minnesota and federal data sharing and privacy laws
Advanced skill in creating effective working relationships, fostering collaboration, and supporting partnerships with governmental and non-governmental officials
