Responsibilities

Collaborate with product managers, engineers, designers, researchers, editors, and data scientists to support the building and growth of CNN Digital’s product experiences

Support the Mobile Product Design team to leverage design systems for native mobile apps and utilize the latest capabilities in Figma

Assist in planning and executing user research and gathering qualitative data to build design recommendations

Partner with internal stakeholders and product design leads to support product goals and company objectives

Proactively seek solutions to design problems through discussions, design reviews, and peer jam sessions

Required

Strong understanding of Figma, including understanding of the concept of components, interactive components, variables, prototypes, and asset libraries

Interested in Apps design patterns for IOS and Android

Keen interest in news media user experiences across the digital landscape

Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required)

Must be a rising Junior or Senior Undergrad (18 years or older)

Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above cumulative GPA)
