Responsibilities

Develop a proficiency in performing analysis need discovery across a wide variety of SAIC projects. After discovery, build estimates for conducting analyses and then execute analyses either through individual contribution efforts or in partnership with other subject matter experts.
Develop a proficiency in digital engineering practices with the EIF. The EIF seeks to connect all digital artifacts across the product lifecycle through our digital thread platform hosted within our digital engineering ecosystem, Ready One (https//readyone.net).
Develop a proficiency in Simulation Process and Data Management (SPDM). Suggest improvements and help develop new features in SAIC’s SPDM solution within the Ready One ecosystem. Foster adoption of the SAIC SPDM solution across SAIC and its customers.
Expand modeling and simulation capabilities within the EIF to model-in-the-loop, software-in-the-loop, and hardware-in-the-loop integration and verification processes and reporting mechanisms by building capabilities in scenario and environment modeling for embedded systems evaluation.
Partner with business development departments in SAIC to identify gaps and work on proposal efforts.
Partner with programs across SAIC to identify gaps on executing work to foster on-contract growth, build proof point libraries, and innovation adoption.

Required

BS in EE, ME, physics or related field with a minimum of 14 years modeling and simulation experience, or MS in EE, ME, physics or related field and 12 years of modeling and simulation experience, or PhD in EE, ME, physics or related field and 9 years of modeling and simulation experience.
Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Deep understanding in at least one modeling and simulation domain.
Ability to adapt and apply / transfer skillset to other modeling and simulation domains.
Experience estimating analysis efforts and managing execution of those analysis efforts with primary stakeholders in a feedback loop.
Adopts a lifelong learner approach to work and demonstrated ability to find novel ways to solve difficult problems.

Preferred

Helpful to have digital engineering experience.
Helpful to have a systems-centric thinking mindset
Helpful to have experience in simulation and process data management.
