Responsibilities
Manage MLO licensing for new and existing MLOs through NMLS to ensure compliance with state regulations and the SAFE Act.
Set up and ensure completion of all required PE and CE training.
Maintain MLO licensing information in all applicable systems.
Assist in obtaining and renewing Company licenses.
Assist in preparation of Annual/Quarterly/Monthly reporting required by states and the agencies.
Participate in examination prep including gathering of documentation (State, Federal, Agency, Investor and/or Internal)
Assist in the completion of HMDA reporting.
Complete Partner (Broker) reviews and annual renewal.
Maintain Partner licenses in applicable internal systems.

Required
Previous experience in a mortgage licensing/compliance role.
Working knowledge and experience with NMLS.
Must have practical expertise in both state and federal laws as they pertain to licensing.
Strong research, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities and workflow.
Attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment a must.
High Level of verbal and written communication skills.
Commitment to excellence and high standards and ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Preferred
Working knowledge of Comergence or equivalent.
Reverse mortgage and/or non-QM mortgage knowledge.
