Responsibilities
Interviews applicants to determine financial eligibility and feasibility of granting loans.
Evaluates loan applications and documentation by conforming credit worthiness.
Work closely with Processor to determine conditions for loan approval
LO is responsible to collect and prepare all materials needed to secure mortgage loan by informing applicant of additional requirements or erroneous information.
Justifies and communicates decisions (approvals/denials) to applicants and report on them.
Counsel’s clients on policies and restrictions.
Maintains and keeps all records confidential.
Keeps own NMLS licensing updated; participates in educational opportunities and supports own professional growth.
Develops referral networks and builds and grow own clientele database.
Operates in compliance with laws and regulations and adheres to lending compliance guidelines.

Required
Active NMLS License required.
3 to 5 years of mortgage loan origination experience required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Adhere and comply with all applicable Federal and State regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
General banking knowledge.
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
Solid computer skills including Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel applications.
Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent time management skills and organization.
