Responsibilities

Maintain and track all initial disclosures, re-disclosures and initial closing disclosures to ensure compliance and meet required time frames.
Communicate with operations and sales staff to address items for compliance with disclosures.
Understand federal and state mortgage documents and product-specific documents.
Order, prepare, and verify required loan documents for compliance.
Support Loan Coordinators in initial loan setup and underwriting.
Meet standards for compliance, job knowledge, quality, attendance, efficiency, and customer service.
Maintain customer confidence by providing quality service and keeping information confidential.
Stay updated on internal policies, procedures, and compliance regulations.

Required

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least two years of customer service experience preferred.
At least two years mortgage processing experience.
Thorough understanding and knowledge of mortgage documents.
Strong communication skills, verbal and written
Proficient computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, any other mortgage/banking software, etc.).
Proven organizational skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task
Professional demeanor and interaction with all customers (internal and external).
Effective interpersonal and communications (written and verbal) skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment as well as independently.
Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision while obtaining satisfactory results.
Ability to pay attention to detail while handling a high volume of work with multiple interruptions.
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers and customers, work independently and be self-motivated.
Effective project management skills and the ability to proactively problem solve.
Any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge and compliance with internal policies and procedures. Understand and ensure compliance with laws, rules, and regulations affecting our institution.

Preferred
