Responsibilities

Responsible for overall development, planning, training, safety, coordinating, cleanliness, organization, part protection, flow, efficiencies, standard times, deadlines, part needs, sub-work orders, and travelers related to APUs, LRUs, components, parts, and tools

Maintain equipment related to the area

Meet customer and contract turn times

Segregate airworthy and non-airworthy parts and FAA and non-FAA components

Read, write, comprehend, and comply with work instructions; write technical and accurate reports as needed

Accurately complete work orders, BOMs, data inputs within ERP system

Read, understand, and comply with Commercial, FAA, EASA, Repair Station, ITAR, and ISO documentations

Verify that personnel in the area have been properly trained and assign tasks

Mentor and train other personnel

Operate, maintain, and service specialized equipment

Perform other duties as assigned by any supervisor in a professional manner

Required

High School Diploma/GED minimum

A&P License or Repairman's certificate is required by the FAA. Repairman's Certificate can be obtained through Piedmont Aviation

Minimum 2 years of experience required

An aptitude for detailed mechanical work and methodical trouble-shooting is essential

High level of integrity, confidentiality and discretion

Make basic decisions and work with deadlines while understanding pressure

Work with people and communicate (both oral and written communication) with other personnel and management effectively. Proven leadership and management skills required
